New York City Hypnosis:

New York Hypnosis and NYC Hypnotherapy UNIQUE Methods For Alleviating those Anxious Feelings in your body (aka – also labeled as Anxiety and Panic Attacks …. We’ll just call them here for what they are: unproductive physical Associations)

Find yourself constantly worried  …. Feeling on the edge … Yet, it just comes on. You have no idea when and where the feelings will take over you.  Do you find yourself trapped from daily activities? Going certain places? Even leaving your home? Keeping your from Experiencing Life?

You may have tried medical solutions, being prescribed antidepressants by your doctor. And while these drugs sometimes have an amazing effect on suppressing the anxious feelings from overtaking you, as your mind finds ways to defeat these temporary short solutions, you find that anxiety is still effecting the decisions you make, and possibly, controlling every waking moment of your life.

Everyday Anxiety is NORMAL …. But When It REACHES CHRONIC LEVELS.

You get nervous, stressed, anxious from time to time. Especially in new situations, meeting new people, facing situations you haven’t faced before, like Job Interviews, taking a test, meeting with the IRS, a fender bender or confrontation with an authority figure, like a boss or parental figure.

Many times those quick bursts of anxiety propel us to perform extreme feats of motivation, helping you achieve the most you are capable of.

Lets state it for the record, panic and anxiety attacks are not a sign of weakness, it’s really the result of having tried to be so strong or stoic in your life for so long, trying to do it all, holding in those feelings, suppressing that demonstration of emotion.

How DID I Get SO DARN ANXIOUS ?

When you experience anxiety, it overwhelms you, and it can be physically or mentally, but most often, it’s both. Anxiety and panic  attacks are extremely frightening, the extreme loss of control. Even after you’ve recovered, the mere though of a recurring panic attack brings on feelings of embarrassment .

The initial feeling of anxiety could have stemmed from somethings as simplistic as having a bad dream as a child, woke up shaking, or falling off a bicycle, or the extreme, an accident, of childhood guilt, where you were laid the blame by parental figures for things you might not have been even capable of as a child.

Simplified, anxiety is the body’s physical reaction to fearful, unexpected or hallucinated  impending danger. Fears, whether it’s real, imaginary or hallucinated, if it triggers the anxious response, it’s something I have to deal with in our hypnotherapy sessions together.

UNDERSTAND – YOU’RE NOT ALONE! ANXIETY IS NORMAL … YES  .. NORMAL !!

When you’re in a threatening situation, whether it’s confronted with anger, frustration, fear, being sad, or experiencing a traumatic event where you feel helpless, out of control, earlier attached feelings, anxiety, panic, overwhelm the body. It’s when those attacks become overwhelming, uncontrollable, unpredictable and cause you to move through your day with an overwhelming fear of that ominous, oncoming attack.

ANXIETY SYMPTOMS CAN GO UNNOTICED !!!

Anxiety symptoms, whether it physical, emotional or behavioral can be unnoticed until that one day you become overwhelmed with life. Everything gets on your nerves. You start doubting your sanity. A feeling of being out of control.

The resulting behavioral changes range from: Confusion, depressed, even suicidal thoughts, excessive drinking eating, drinking or smoking, reckless behavior, elevated blood pressure, heart palpitations as the anxiety affects the functions of other organs.

PANIC ATTACKS:  ARE SUDDEN, CONFUSING AND SEVERE

When you are experiencing a panic attack, usually it is preceded by a wave of unreasonable sense of fear, panic that envelopes … grips …. the body. Some describe it as if they were being squeezed in a vice grip. Thoughts of dying or having a heart attack usually overwhelm the mind, as you grasp to make sense of it.

A Panic attack is can be simply, the body, lets use the analogy,  if you blocked the steam release valve on a steam kettle, an internal buildup, putting the most pressure on the weakest exit point. These symptoms include:

Chest Pains
Headaches
Hyperventilating
Insomnia
Shortness of Breath
Profuse Sweating
Diarrhoea
Dizziness
Inabiltiy to Concentrate
Stomach Pains, Cramps
Racing heartbeat
Stomach Problems
Shakiness, Tensions and Muscle Spasms.

PANIC ATTACKS ARE LEARNED PHYSICAL RESPONSES TO STRESS

Panic attacks are LEARNED BODILY RESPONSES from events in the past: Social or in childrearing. You may immediatly notice a strong sense of danger, or, just an immediate sense to flee, to get away, to escape.

Our HUMANISTIC HYPNOTHERAPY METHOD HELPS YOU TO RETRAIN YOUR BODY’S RESPONSE TO STRESS

In our regression based, humanistic hypnotherapy sessions (which are not therapy … they are a process are are the polar opposite to therapy), guided through an entryway created by the ‘remembered’ physical sensations in the body, we get to the root cause of the endless stream of triggers. We null and void the attached feelings through our patented process, so that, the trigger, like a light switch, doesn’t trigger the body’s panic response, and you experience life with an adult’s mind.

Once we’ve plucked out the original ISE (Initial Sensitizing Event) and it’s gone – that initial trigger, like a weed’s root in a garden, we proceed through as many ‘linking events’, nullifying and voiding them through the inherent power of your conscious mind, what you know to be real.

Clients report, better social interactivity, calmer stomachs, less tension, sleeping better … powerful changes in moods and motivation.
